Tough mudder

San Diego proved to be a battle of the fittest, not only for the riders, but also the bikes!

It turned out to be pouring rain and turned the track in to a mud pit. One of the muddiest supercross races in a long time, and a very tough challenge.

Eli Tomac was the guy who came out with the best combination of limiting mistakes, and most importantly, preserving the bike in a race that could very easily destroy even the best factory bikes.

Ken Roczen looked like a lock for second, until being passed in the last corner by Marvin Musquin after a mistake in the straight stretch before the last corner.

I’m sure the riders are definitely ready to head east in to an enclosed stadium in Minneapolis.

Tomac heads there the new points leader, with Roczen, Musquin and Webb all close behind him.
